Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and assess mixed‑ability History lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Contribute to the development of a broad, sequenced Humanities curriculum.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and best practice.
  • Support students’ personal, social, and emotional development as part of a caring culture.
  • Participate in school activities and events as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified teacher with experience in History at KS3/KS4; acceptance of early career teachers (ECTs) and recently qualified teachers.
  • Demonstrated excellent subject knowledge and ability to run inspirational lessons.
  • Strong commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities within the Humanities faculty.
