Squirrels Heath Primary School is looking to appoint an experienced cleaner who has experience of working in a school setting. The role includes:

  • Working as part of a team of cleaners under the supervision of the Site Manager
  • Ensuring designated areas are safe and cleaned to the high standard required, including toilets and classrooms
  • Reporting maintenance issues to the Site Manager

The successful applicant will:

  • Have the ability to organise one’s own work, to prioritise tasks and keep to deadlines
  • Be able to work independently and be a committed and flexible team player
  • Be able to communicate and interact effectively with adults
  • Display a commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children
  • Have an understanding of basic Health, Safety and Security in schools
  • Have an understanding of basic cleaning chemicals and products and their appropriate use in accordance with the COSHH regulations
