PCV Driver – Join our Passenger Travel Services Team.
Grade: 4 (£30,630 – £32,931 pro-rata), term-time only, split shift, 25 hours per week, £17,405.

Our service primarily involves the conveyance of Adults and Children with learning or physical difficulties to Day Centres or Schools and returning them home, using accessible buses.
We aim to provide a safe, quality-driven, customer-focused service, maximize fleet availability, achieve positive outcomes, and reduce waiting and route times through efficient scheduling.
About the Job
The role of Transport PCV Drivers involves:
- Safely conveying Children and Adults with disabilities, accompanied by a passenger assistant, to various in-borough and outer-borough locations.
- Assignment to various routes and ad-hoc trips, which may include out-of-borough or international trips.
- This is a term-time only contract, 25 hours per week, on a split shift, Monday to Friday.
About You
- Experience working with vulnerable clients (Adults & Children).
- Experience driving PCV vehicles (large and small) and using tail lifts.
- High safety standards and ability to work as part of a team.
- Clear communication skills across the company, clients, and customers.
- Good written skills.
- Practical, efficient, and able to prioritize workload.
- Enthusiastic about working in a local authority environment and proactive in improving quality and productivity.
- Flexible with working hours, including overtime.
- Hold a clean minimum category D driving license.
- Desirable: Digital Tacho Card and DQC (Drivers Qualification Card), with training provided if necessary.
