Location: The Royal Liberty School, Upper Brentwood Road, Romford, Essex RM2 6HJ

Hours: 30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (plus 5.7 weeks paid annual leave)

Grade: Scale 2 points 3-4 – Annual salary: £19,986 – £20,271

Contract: Permanent

Start Date: September 2026

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students in a small Nurture Group or mainstream classroom.
  • Provide in‑class support and deliver interventions.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience working with students with significant SEND needs, particularly cognition, learning, and speech and language needs.
  • Highly motivated, flexible and organised.
  • Must hold or obtain an Enhanced DBS check.
