About the School

The Royal Liberty School is a small, comprehensive, 11‑16 school for boys. The school is part of the Success for All Educational Trust, which also includes Redden Court School, Sanders Draper School and Rise Park Academies. The school’s OFSTED report (February 2024) states that “Staff know their pupils very well, and as a result, pupils are happy and safe. Pupils are polite, respectful and mature and value diversity and equality.”

The school’s results consistently exceed the national average, with maths (82%) and English & maths (78%) above 9‑4.

Responsibilities

Support students in either a small Nurture Group or in the mainstream classroom, providing in‑class support and delivering interventions.

Work 30 hours per week for 38 weeks a year plus 5 INSET days.

Qualifications and Experience

Highly motivated, flexible and organised, and enjoy working with young people.

Experience of working with students with a high degree of SEND needs, particularly in cognition, learning, and speech and language.
