About this Role
We are seeking to appoint a permanent Deputy Head of Sixth Form to work closely with the Head of Sixth Form and the wider Sixth Form team, leading and supporting students in Key Stage 5.
The Deputy Head of 6th Form plays a crucial role in supporting the strategic leadership and management of the Year 12 students. This position is responsible for ensuring the continued progress, welfare, and enrichment of our 6th Form students, in alignment with the school\'s vision and values.
The successful candidate will:
- Be visionary in shaping the Biology Department
- Lead colleagues in delivering brilliant Biology lessons, ensuring consistently high standards are achieved
- Lead on curriculum development in Biology and plan creatively for high quality teaching, learning and assessment.
- Help shape the career development of the Biology and Science team, providing opportunities for professional growth and equitable access to relevant training
- Share our commitment to building great learning communities for our students and inspire young women with a passion for Biology. #Work collaboratively across the Science Department and the school
The successful candidate will become part of an oversubscribed, flourishing school for girls aged 11 to 18, with confident, courteous, articulate students and an ethos in empowerment.
