Overview
Marshalls Park Academy is seeking a capable, reliable and enthusiastic Assistant Site Keeper to join our busy Site Services Team in being responsible for general premises, grounds keeping and caretaking duties. Applicants should be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team to maintain and manage the grounds and buildings.
This role is full time, 52 weeks per year, 36 hours per week, 5 days per week, with your exact working pattern to be discussed at interview. The role also requires a degree of flexibility to cover for holidays, absence or at times of increased need.
Responsibilities
- A background in maintenance, DIY or trades (electrical, plumbing, gardening, carpentry and decoration).
- Caretaking, lettings, or facilities management experience, ideally in a school or similar setting.
- A hard-working, resilient approach and able to respond positively to competing demands.
- Adaptability and a confident team player.
