Roles and Responsibilities
- Assisting the Headteacher in the strategic leadership of the school and the implementation of policies.
- Modelling the school’s core values of Aspiration, Identity and Integrity at all times.
- Leading school improvement initiatives to ensure the best outcomes for all children.
- Overseeing at least one key area of school development e.g. Inclusion, Assessment, Pastoral.
- Monitoring of standards including: teaching and learning, planning, work produced by children, learning environments, displays, behaviour, pupil progress paperwork etc.
- Providing timely feedback to staff and also reporting to governors.
- Ensuring high-quality education for all pupils, supporting their progress and achievement.
- Contributing to school activities, such as INSET, staff meetings, and parental engagement events.
- Line managing phase leaders and any other staff members designated by the Headteacher.
- Any other roles and responsibilities decided by the Headteacher based on the needs of the school.
