The Resident Services Team is responsible for assisting tenants to sustain their tenancies and encouraging and facilitating their independence, quality of life, safeguarding and health and well-being on a wide range of issues including housing, welfare rights, personal finance, hoarding, tenancy management, mediation, life skills and the promotion of personal independence.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and manage ASB complaints in line with our policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with residents, local authorities, and external agencies to resolve ASB issues.
  • Conduct regular estate inspections to identify and address potential ASB hotspots.
  • Maintain accurate records of ASB cases and actions taken.
  • Provide support and guidance to residents affected by ASB.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous experience in ASB or housing management is essential.
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in ASB management (Policing and Crime Act 2017, Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014).
  • Proficiency in using housing management software Open Housing and Microsoft Office.
  • Must have a full UK driving license and a vehicle to use for work.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience working in social housing or equivalent transferrable skills.
  • A keen interest in and knowledge of the social housing sector.
  • A high performer with a proven track record of success and ASB experience/knowledge.
  • Knowledge of tenancy and leasehold management.
  • A degree or housing qualification such as CIH is preferable, but not essential.
