As the Grounds & Siting Manager, you’ll be at the heart of an energetic Facilities team, leading with clear direction and motivation. You’ll inspire your team to hit goals and maintain high standards, providing feedback, tackling challenges, and supporting development. Managing budgets and tools will keep operations running smoothly. The role drives exceptional grounds maintenance and caravan siting activity, improves operations, resolves issues, and ensures safety, compliance, and alignment with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and support the team to deliver excellent service and achieve targets.
- Ensure top-tier guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, improving service, and driving a welcoming atmosphere.
- Monitor individual and team performance, providing feedback, coaching, and conducting performance reviews.
- Oversee team scheduling, budgets, and resources to maximize efficiency and meet business needs.
- Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and standards.
- Resolve operational issues quickly, ensuring smooth day-to-day running.
- Support team development through ongoing training, mentoring, and creating growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as Head Groundsman, Garden & Grounds Manager, or similar leadership position within facilities or maintenance.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
