We're looking for a friendly, energetic Front of House Team Member to join our team at JD Wetherspoon and Lakehouse Restaurant. You'll be the face of our venues, welcoming guests and owners with genuine warmth, taking their orders, serving delicious food and drinks, and creating the kind of hospitable atmosphere that keeps people coming back.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting guests with a warm welcome and ensuring they have a brilliant experience
- Taking food and drink orders, serving meals, and preparing beverages at the bar
- Processing payments accurately and getting orders out promptly
- Keeping the restaurant, bar, and service areas clean, organised, and running smoothly
- Collaborating with your team to deliver excellent service and operational excellence
- Knowing the menu inside out so you can make confident recommendations and answer guest questions
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality (pub, restaurant, fast food, or customer service) is a bonus, but not essential – we'll provide full training
- Excellent communication skills and a genuinely positive, guest-focused attitude
- Ability to stay calm and efficient during busy service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
- Applicants must meet the minimum legal age of 18 to sell alcohol.
