We are seeking a Food Store legend to keep our stock areas in top shape! If you've got a knack for organisation and love the idea of making sure everything's ready to roll behind the scenes, this could be the perfect role for you. As our go-to Food Store Person, you'll handle it all from receiving and sorting deliveries to making sure our kitchens are fully stocked and primed for action. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain inventory levels for food stock, keeping track of stock levels and expiry dates.
  • Accept deliveries, check for accuracy and quality, and store items properly to ensure freshness and easy access.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the storeroom, fridges, freezers, and stock areas, ensuring all items are stored securely and hygienically.
  • Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations, and ensure storage areas meet food safety compliance standards.
  • Rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles to minimise waste.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a stockroom or food storage role, preferably in a restaurant, kitchen, or hospitality setting.
  • Basic food hygiene knowledge.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy items, including boxes and crates.
  • Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
