Join us as our Compliance & Financial Crime Manager and take the lead in safeguarding our business by ensuring full adherence to FCA regulations, including the Consumer Credit Sourcebook and Consumer Duty. In this pivotal role, you’ll guide senior management with expert regulatory advice, proactively monitor compliance risks, and champion a strong culture of integrity and accountability across Haven Leisure Limited and Bourne Leisure Limited. What You Will Be Doing

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust compliance framework and monitoring programme aligned with FCA rules, regulatory developments, and the business’s risk profile, supporting sustainable growth and good consumer outcomes.
  • Leading the business’s Consumer Duty approach and embedding conduct risk into monitoring, governance, and decision-making, ensuring positive consumer outcomes and regulatory adherence.
  • Providing expert compliance advice on products, marketing, and operational changes, reviewing financial promotions, and acting as a trusted advisor balancing regulatory and commercial objectives.
  • Overseeing financial crime prevention policies and activities, managing complex cases, supporting sanctions and KYC checks, and advising the MLRO to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
  • Owning compliance policies, training, regulatory engagement, and reporting; delivering regular MI to senior stakeholders, supporting governance, and identifying emerging risks for continuous improvement.

What We’d Like You To Bring

  • Significant experience in a senior compliance role within an FCA-regulated credit broker or consumer finance firm, with strong knowledge of the FCA Handbook, including CONC, PRIN, SYSC, DISP, and Consumer Duty.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver strategic, risk-based compliance monitoring programmes and implement financial crime prevention policies in an FCA-regulated environment.
  • Experience engaging effectively with the FCA and senior stakeholders, supported by strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Professional compliance qualifications (e.g., ICA, CISI) and experience supporting SM&CR responsibilities, with a proactive, solutions-focused approach and excellent judgment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively and present complex information clearly, challenge constructively, influence senior stakeholders, and uphold the highest standards of integrity and FCA Conduct Rules.
