Are you a finance professional focused on facilitating cost efficiencies and supporting key business functions? We’re seeking a Central Cost Analyst to join Haven's motivated team. Supporting a cost base of approximately £100m, you’ll collaborate with our Head Office team, ensuring financial insights are key to decision-making. What you’ll do:
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide them with sound financial advice and support so that they can make more informed decisions.
- Produce high-quality monthly reporting, commentary, and analysis.
- Diligently analyse costs, identify savings opportunities, and support investment decisions.
- Collaborate with the Finance Business Partnering team to accurately report performance.
- Manage balance sheet accounts, including accruals and prepayments.
- Provide training and guidance to non-financial stakeholders to enhance cost ownership.
- Support planning processes with robust data collection and analysis.
- Partner with executive and department heads to optimise budget management.
What we’d like you to bring:
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Experience in Business Partnering / Supporting Stakeholders with financial decision making.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current accounting standards and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and advanced Excel.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-accountants.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- A collaborative approach with stakeholder engagement skills.
