The Role
As a Haven Buddy, you'll provide essential companionship and support to individuals and families. Every day is different, but typical responsibilities include:
- Companionship and conversation to prevent isolation.
- Light household help (meal preparation, tidying).
- Support with safe routines (reminders, wellbeing checks).
- Accompanying clients into the community (appointments, walks, activities).
- Offering reassurance and emotional support.
This role is flexible and can fit around your lifestyle, with opportunities for occasional, part-time, or full-time hours.
