We are looking for a Youth Employability & Development Partner to drive Haven's contribution to the Government's Youth Guarantee initiative - actioning real, sustainable employment outcomes for people aged 16-24. You'll design and scale programmes that remove barriers, build confidence, and get young people genuinely ready for work. Working alongside government departments, local authorities, education providers and community partners, you'll create talent pipelines that deliver genuine social impact and real business value for Haven. You'll also help build capability across our teams, coaching managers on how to recruit and develop young people into thriving roles. If you're passionate about equal opportunities and making a tangible difference, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:

  • Designing and delivering youth employability programmes - leading the creation and rollout of apprenticeships, work experience, sector-based academies and Youth Hub partnerships across Haven, deciding what works best for different locations and measuring what matters.
  • Building meaningful partnerships - working with government departments, local authorities, education providers and community organisations to create talent pipelines that deliver real social impact and business value for Haven.
  • Supporting young people into work - designing wraparound support that tackles real barriers - from wellbeing and confidence to skills and career readiness - ensuring young people get what they actually need to succeed.
  • Equipping Haven's teams to recruit and develop young people - coaching managers and hiring teams across the business, giving them the tools, confidence and guidance to bring young people into Haven and help them thrive.
  • Tracking impact and driving improvement - monitoring employment outcomes, retention rates and social value metrics, using data to refine delivery, secure funding, and identify new opportunities to scale what's working.

What we'd like you to bring:

  • Experience designing and delivering youth employability programmes at scale - You've built apprenticeships, work experience schemes, or similar initiatives that actually reach young people and create lasting outcomes.
  • Deep knowledge of the youth employment landscape - You understand the Youth Guarantee, government policy, youth employability programmes, and the real barriers young people face - from wellbeing and confidence to skills gaps and social mobility.
  • A track record of building partnerships across government, education and community sectors - You've worked successfully with DWP, local authorities, colleges, training providers and community organisations to create joined-up support.
  • Experience working with large, multi-site businesses - You've navigated operational complexity, managed budgets and resources across multiple locations, and translated policy into practical management approaches.
  • The mindset to match the role - You're a strategic thinker who's collaborative, proactive, outcome-focused, and genuinely passionate about championing young people's success. You work well autonomously, communicate clearly to diverse audiences, and thrive in fast-moving environments.
