Position: Grounds & Siting Team Member

Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Seasonal

Pay Rates: Up to £12.21 per hour depending on age

Full valid driving licence with the relevant category to operate tractors, gators, and agricultural machinery is required. Due to operating machinery, candidates must be 18 years and over.

Join our One Great Team here at Haven as a Grounds & Siting Team Member, where you'll play a vital role in keeping our holiday park looking great and guest ready. From maintaining our outdoor spaces to siting and preparing caravans, you'll help create safe, welcoming, and memorable experiences for our Guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the park and grounds to a high standard, including lawns, flower beds, borders, and landscaped areas.
  • Safely transport, position, level, connect, and secure caravans in line with site plans and safety procedures.
  • Assist with caravan relocation and removal when required.
  • Carry out basic maintenance tasks, including exterior cleaning and minor repairs.
  • Operate grounds and siting equipment safely, including mowers, strimmers, hedge trimmers, and siting tools.
  • Identify and report any safety or maintenance issues across the park.
  • Work closely with the wider team to ensure the park is safe, tidy, and fully prepared for guest arrival.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, caravan siting, construction, maintenance, or general labour is beneficial but not essential; full training provided.
  • A genuine interest in outdoor, hands-on work.
  • Basic plant knowledge and familiarity with tools and equipment is an advantage.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and undertake physical tasks.
