BARR Personnel is looking for Senior Recruitment Consultants that want the opportunity to move up the ladder and be part of the largest Driving agency in Suffolk. Basic salary depends on what the candidate can bring to the table.

Responsibilities:

  • Be based in our Ipswich town centre office and manage your Account Co‑ordinator/Resourcer(s) once you have built your desk up.
  • Manage a successful team and lead business development as a recruitment consultant.
  • Engage with the client market and manage, control, and provide exceptional service to a large network of candidates.
  • Establish new clients and develop existing relationships, generating opportunities for candidates.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients on their hiring strategies.
  • Establish excellent customer relationships and ensure all candidates have a great professional experience with us.

Qualifications & Ideal Candidate:

  • Good knowledge and awareness of the recruitment industry.
  • Successful track record in previous recruitment roles.
  • Self‑motivated, autonomous with strong work ethic.
  • Recruitment consultancy and people‑management experience.
  • Ability to manage and build relationships with internal staff and clients.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Confidence in managing and leading a successful team.
  • Strong focus, prioritisation, and self‑motivation.
  • Forthright, driven, self‑starter and finisher.
  • Good academic track‑record.
  • Excellent IT skills.
