Main Duties
- 1.Cleaning the school premises including deep cleaning
- 2.Vacuuming carpeted areas and washing floors of cloakroomsand toilets in designated areas
- 3.Sweeping uncarpeted areas
- 4.Emptying and cleaning bins and disposing of rubbish in main bins
- 5.Spot cleaning of spillages
- 6.Cleaning desks, seats and skirting boards
- 7.Cleaning toilet areas and replenishing toiletries
- 8.Cleaning doors and windows
- 9.Checking stock levels of cleaning materials
- 10.Report all defects/hazards immediately to the caretaker or supervisor
- 11.Carry out duties in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with requirements under Health & Safety regulations, established safe systems of work, practices and procedures.
- 12.Assist in the care of equipment, materials and storage areas used in cleaning the building.
- 13.Participate in training as required.
