We have a great opportunity to join us as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician (Electrician). The purpose of this role is to undertake repairs to electrical installations on mainly domestic properties located throughout East Anglia to a high standard and ensuring correctly certified.
We own and manage c.7,500 homes in the east of England, working closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities. We build on the good foundations we have in place in being a customer-centric organisation, investing in our existing homes – including our zero-carbon journey – as well as building new homes.
A lot of our roles come with options around home and office flexible working, as well as a generous annual leave allowance and other benefits.

Requirements
Outline of Key Responsibilities…
- Diagnose, rectify faults, and carry out electrical repairs effectively. Aim to complete repairs on the first visit where possible
- Perform regular inspections and testing of electrical installations to ensure safety and compliance
- Provide clear information regarding any additional works required, including timeframes and materials
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out and report any identified issues to the line manager
- Adhere to company and statutory health and safety regulations
We are looking for someone who has…
- A full UK driving licence
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Proficiency in IT and the use of software for work documentation (training will be provided)
- City and Guilds 2382 ‐ 18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations or equivalent
- City and Guilds 2360 ‐ Parts 1 and 2, NVQ3 or equivalent
- City and Guilds 2391 ‐ Testing & Inspecting or equivalent
- Experience working in a maintenance role, preferably within a social housing environment
