Make a real difference at Lucy Adams House - leading a support team that helps residents build independence and thrive in a safe, supportive environment. This is an incredible opportunity to join us as our Support Team Leader within our fantastic Lucy Adams House team. We own and manage c.8,000 homes in the east of England, working closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities. We build on the good foundations we have in place as a customer-centric organisation, investing in our existing homes - including our zero-carbon journey - as well as building new homes. Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the Support Team to deliver high-quality support, enabling residents to maximise their independence and successfully move on from the service.
  • Oversee the wellbeing and performance of the Support Team, carrying out core line management responsibilities.
  • Ensure a consistent, person-centred and trauma-informed approach to support planning and risk assessments, in line with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Promote equality, inclusion and fair access for all residents, supporting them to achieve positive outcomes during their time in the service.
  • Manage and apply warning and eviction procedures consistently and appropriately.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with statutory and external agencies, keeping the team informed of relevant housing and welfare developments.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of issues leading to homelessness.
  • Knowledge of issues facing individuals struggling with drug and alcohol addiction, and mental health difficulties.
  • Experience of working with homeless individuals within a hostel and dispersed environment.
  • Experience of dealing with complex interpersonal situations.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

  • An annual salary of £34,259.50 plus a car allowance of £1,545 per annum.
