Are you an experienced operations professional ready to drive performance and make a real impact? We are looking for a dynamic and data-driven Operations Manager to join our Asset Management Directorate, analysing performance data to drive efficiencies across our Repairs and Maintenance function and ensuring repairs are completed in full, on time and first time. You will work collaboratively across the business, champion our core values of Respect, Engage and Fair, and maintain a visible presence through regular site visits.
We own and manage c.8,000 homes in the east of England, working closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities. We build on the good foundations we have in place in being a customer-centric organisation, investing in our existing homes - including our zero-carbon journey - as well as building new homes.

Requirements
- Provide strong leadership to the Repairs and Maintenance function, including Voids, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Analyse performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement, using insight to optimise repair processes and resource allocation.
- Lead and mentor trade supervisors, supporting them in managing their teams to deliver high performance and consistent standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency across repairs and voids, promoting flexibility in resource use wherever possible.
- Ensure effective collaboration across key departments including Neighbourhood and Estates, Allocations, Communications, Supported and Strategic Asset Management.
- Facilitate regular cross-departmental meetings to maintain alignment of goals, priorities and activities across the business.
- Prepare and present regular reports on repair performance, outcomes, and improvement initiatives to the Head of Repairs.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A relevant building or trade qualification, providing a solid foundation for leading a repairs and maintenance function.
- Proven experience in a strategic operations management role within a repairs and maintenance environment, with a strong understanding of what good service delivery looks like.
- Demonstrable experience of analysing performance data and using insight to implement meaningful operational improvements.
- A track record of successfully leading and developing teams of trade professionals and supervisors, with the ability to inspire high performance and a culture of accountability.
- A full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle, as the role includes regular site visits.
