Electrician !

If you're a skilled electrician who takes pride in delivering top-quality work, we want to hear from you.

You'll be out on the road across the region of East Anglia, making a real difference to people's homes by carrying out expert electrical repairs and installations.

We own and manage c.8,000 homes in the east of England, working closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities.

We build on the good foundations we have in place in being a customer-centric organisation, investing in our existing homes - including our zero-carbon journey - as well as building new homes.

Requirements

Outline of key responsibilities...

  • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults effectively, with a strong focus on first-time fixes to minimise disruption to residents
  • Where additional works are identified, clearly communicate the scope, timescales, and materials required to ensure a smooth customer experience
  • Carry out minor works across associated trades as required, or as directed by your line manager
  • Plan and manage your workload effectively to meet target timescales and deliver a responsive service
  • Maintain appropriate van stock levels to ensure you have the right materials on hand to complete jobs efficiently
  • Carry out inspection and testing of domestic properties in line with current regulations

We are looking for someone who has...

  • City and Guilds 2382 ‐ 18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations or equivalent.
  • City and Guilds 2360 ‐ Parts 1 and 2, NVQ3 or equivalent.
  • City and Guilds 2391 ‐ Testing & Inspecting or equivalent.
  • A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with residents in their homes
  • Confident IT skills, with the ability to use job management software and complete electronic certification
  • A full, valid UK driving licence
