The Asset Officer supports the Assets Team in delivering high-quality service to residents by maintaining accurate asset data, managing enquiries, and coordinating data for major works procurement.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Assets Team in delivering a great service to residents, ensuring that assets systems data is accurate and validated.
  • Work with colleagues in the organisation to improve the ways we collect, manage and develop our asset data, including land registry enquiries.
  • Gather intelligence about Havebury’s assets and assist in the planning of investments by recording, maintaining, and reporting management information about our assets and contracts.
  • Work alongside internal teams regarding replacement and investment enquiries, as well as general enquiries.
  • Coordinate data for major works procurement, including planned investment for properties over a 30-year period.
  • Work on ways to improve our financial and customer services.
  • Be a key point of contact for the Asset team regarding Asset management enquiries and provide administration support to the team, including both internal and external customers.
  • Support the wider Asset Data and Surveying Team in administration tasks such as booking appointments, raising purchase orders, and handling enquiries.

Qualifications

  • Experience within a customer-facing role, dealing with members of the public including handling difficult situations.
  • Experience working in an administration role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exemplary organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
