This locum covers all clinical responsibilities for the departing provider and ensures strong continuity of care for our patient base.

About the Practice

Southwood Dental is a well-established clinic located in a busy London plaza surrounded by rapid residential growth. The practice sees approximately 1,300 active patients and attracts 25+ new patients monthly, ensuring a steady pace and high demand. The clinic includes 3 operatories—two dedicated to the dentist and one for hygiene—and is supported by a stable, experienced CDA team. The environment is modern, bright, and fully digital, equipped with Tracker PMS, iOS scanning, Pan/Ceph imaging, digital X-rays, Videa Health, and a paperless charting system. Patients benefit from convenient free parking and a welcoming, tight-knit team that prioritises smooth workflows and excellent care.

Clinical Scope

You will have full autonomy to treat within your comfort zone and can expect a wide variety of cases, including:

  • Bread-and-butter dentistry
  • Basic endodontics
  • Simple and surgical extractions
  • Crown and bridge
  • Emergency dentistry

With strong patient flow and minimal downtime, this locum presents an ideal environment for dentists who enjoy consistent hands-on clinical time.

Why This Locum Opportunity Stands Out

You’ll be supported by a cohesive team that takes pride in patient experience and clinical excellence, ensuring a seamless transition for both you and the patients you’ll be caring for. This assignment also offers the possibility of future permanent opportunities—perfect for clinicians exploring longer-term roles in the London area.
