Job Summary

The Global Strategy Partner is the strategic counsel for our most important global accounts, shaping the thinking that will drive their business growth and how we as HMN grow alongside them. Working side by side with the Global Client Lead, the strategy partner will set the long-term vision for the client, tackle the difficult questions and build the case for why our work matters. As a leading voice within HMN, the strategy partner will balance intellectual leadership with commercial ambition, who unites the network and ensures that strategy remains at the heart of our competitive advantage. Mission & Responsibilities

  • Set the strategic vision & the long-term transformation agenda for the global client.
  • A strategic counsel for marketing leadership to shape the client’s strategy before the brief is written.
  • Structure and solve complex strategic problems, creating compelling narratives that shape client and Havas thinking.
  • Serve as senior strategic advisor to the C-suite and marketing leadership; build board-level relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with senior account leadership to create a long-term transformation strategy supported by innovative marketing solutions.
  • Proactively identify potential strategic problems before they become a reality and demonstrate strong analytical and strategic skills to help address them.
  • Define and represent the agency's strategic and media offering externally at the most senior level.
  • Actively contribute to both internal and industry wide thought leadership.
  • Lead the adoption of new capabilities, technologies, and industry trends, positioning teams and clients at the forefront of emerging media.
  • Work closely with the client to understand their internal landscape and anticipate the challenges they face in gaining approval for our work.
  • Equip them with the persuasive arguments, compelling data, and sharp presentations needed to champion our work internally.
  • Understand the commercial running of the agency to identify and convert incremental revenue opportunities.
  • Create a culture of effectiveness within the client team and broader global organisation.
  • Use the breadth of Havas Media Network to shape the future of effectiveness and bring the latest cutting-edge solutions to the client’s business.
  • Ensure the client is effectively represented in our product and services roadmap.
  • Be a central connector beyond the media network (creative, production, data, commerce, digital transformation) to unlock holistic business value.
  • Work with specialist Havas services to develop new narratives and co-create bespoke offerings that solve a business challenge.
  • Strengthen our offering by integrating broader agency capabilities.
  • Strong cross-functional relationships with department leads to strategically deliver collective agency targets.
  • Responsible for knowing and navigating the full spectrum of Havas capabilities to assemble the right combination of talent to solve client specific challenges.
  • Understand the commercial and operational running of the agency and client and ensure the right level of knowledge and understanding is cascaded to team members.
