The Havas Creative Finance team is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Commercial Accountant to oversee all matters linked to revenue recognition and forecasting for one Creative agency. They will be the key contact in the agency for providing support and financial guidance to the Client teams. As a key part of the role is driving agency profitability, the Commercial Accountant will be working with the Finance Analyst to produce monthly profitability reports and working with the agency to ensure strong profitability on accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production of the revenue figures for monthly reporting and quarterly forecasting.
- Ensure revenue recognition standards are applied correctly.
- Completion on month end revenue tasks.
- Review monthly recovery reports and organise monthly meetings with Business Directors.
- Review fee proposals.
- Be a real driver in raising commercial awareness across the business.
- Ongoing training of client teams on commercial matters.
- Oversee the management of all client WIP accounts, ensuring timely billing & reconciliation, minimising any WIP write off.
- Ensure rate cards, rates and roles are up to date in the system.
- Ensure the Kimble System is maintained and used appropriately.
- Assist with implementation of new financial system.
- Ad-hoc tasks.

- Previous agency experience desirable
