About Us: We are seeking a hands-on IT Infrastructure Manager to join our Infrastructure team. This role involves supporting our current systems and services, as well as leading new projects, solutions, and platforms across both on-premise and cloud environments. Havas Group is a global communications company, delivering advertising, marketing, and media buying to many UK and global clients. Havas IT provides all aspects of IT services to the UK and IE based Havas Group companies.
The Role:
- Management: Reporting to the CTO, you will lead the implementation and support of our UK setup across multiple office locations and cloud services.
- Technical Expertise: You will leverage your comprehensive infrastructure experience to manage a variety of solutions across multiple tech stacks.
- Strategic Development: Develop a clear understanding of the offerings available to different business units, identify capabilities that align with global and UK strategies, and recognize system limitations.
- Hybrid Work Environment: This role offers a blend of working from our London HQ and remote locations.
Essential Skills:
- Information Security: Strong understanding of security best practices in all aspects of information security, with attention to detail and a commitment to thorough documentation.
- Cloud Hosting: Experience with IaaS/PaaS/SaaS hosting (preferably Azure), including the consolidation and modernization of legacy systems to fit cloud environments. Relevant certifications in support and architecture are desirable.
- Networking: Robust networking background, with experience managing multiple sites from firewalls to edge switches (Palo Alto, HP, Cisco), and familiarity with SD-WAN, IPv6, VPN, BGP, and Zero Trust/Zero Trust Network Access (ZT/ZTNA).
- On-Premise Solutions: Experience with on-premise solutions, e.g., VMware.
- Enterprise Storage: Proficiency in managing enterprise storage solutions across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as a team player, sharing knowledge with both junior and senior staff members.
- Problem Solving Ownership: Serve as a point of escalation, utilizing calm and methodical thought processes to resolve issues. This hands-on role requires supporting the infrastructure and service desk teams to resolution.
Desirable Skills:
- Cloud Networking: Knowledge of cloud networking.
- Automation & Containerization: Familiarity with automation or containerization technologies.
- MDM Solutions: Experience with Intune/Jamf MDM at an enterprise level.
- Service Desk & Change Management: Good working knowledge of service desk and change management processes, including authorization and risk categorization.
- Reporting: Ability to create reports using PowerBI.
- ISO27001: Exposure to the ISO27001 process.
