Reporting into the Head of Compensation and Benefits, we are looking for a proactive, flexible, friendly, and driven Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our lively People team and support in running all the Reward and Benefit processes across Media and Creative agencies and our central services. This is a key partnering role working closely with the wider People team, managers across the business, and internal and external service providers.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the accurate and timely monthly payroll instructions and checking.
  • Support preparation and submission of benefit in kind and other reporting to our Shared Services team.
  • Building effective relationships across the business with an approachable and knowledgeable style ensuring timely and accurate responses to pay and benefits queries from employees.
  • Partnering with and providing expert advice and guidance to the People Business Partnering team to support pay (e.g. benchmarking, pay bandings) and benefits (e.g. harmonisation, TUPE) discussions and decisions with their stakeholder groups.
  • Overseeing the benefits process including managing relationships with our benefits broker and external providers.
  • Submission of data to 3rd party providers for benefits and salary surveys.
  • Analysing the current offering and carrying out competitive analysis to make recommendations for changes to our benefits.
  • Managing and delivering the bi-annual pay review and annual bonus scheme.
  • Supporting the Head of Compensation and Benefits on Group Reward projects.
  • Keeping up to date with upcoming changes in legislation regarding any aspects of reward (e.g. pensions, gender pay reporting, commission, holidays, etc.) and proactively making recommendations to the team and the wider business.
  • Analysing data and reporting on payroll information, headcount and other key People metrics.
  • Line management, alongside the Head of Compensation and Benefits, of 1 Administrator and 2 Junior Compensation and Benefits Analysts.
  • Cross-party working on wider projects.

Qualifications

  • You should be a generalist in Compensation and Benefits.
  • You should be incredibly organised and able to drive multiple initiatives with competing deadlines in a pressured and agile environment.
  • You will be solution focused and drive to always streamline processes and procedures to reduce unnecessary admin.
  • You should be able to keep calm under pressure and think with a collaborative approach.
  • Strong communication skills are essential – you should be able to communicate effectively and collaborate with colleagues at all levels including senior management.
  • Optimism is key – a can-do attitude with a genuine passion for your field.
  • An ideas-person with natural creative flair who will challenge the norm.
  • Ideally you will have some media, creative or marketing agency experience and be accustomed to working in a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Advanced Excel experience and strong numerical skills are a must.
  • Knowledge and experience of HR systems and reporting.
  • Strong influencing skills and senior stakeholder management experience.
