Havas Market is Havas Media Group’s specialist connected commerce agency which provides support to clients, end to end across all their brand, performance & digital retail channels. We combine expert execution skills, powerful technology/data analytics and strategic consulting skills to deliver above market growth and help clients outmanoeuvre competitors. As such, engagements are multi-channel (D2C, marketplace, Social Commerce, rewards hub), multi-product (managed service, advisory and/or tech/tools) and multi-national.
The Role: This role sits within our Havas Market Account team, which focuses on connected commerce strategies for our clients, spanning brand, performance and retail channels. As an Account Manager, you will own the day-to-day management of key clients, helping (with support from the Account Director) to provide central strategic management of all channels to deliver growth for your clients. You will leverage combined knowledge from yourself and your team to come up with solutions to address clients’ daily businesses challenges, ensuring you are mentoring and managing more junior members of the team, and orchestrating cross-functional teams to deliver joined up strategies, plans and results for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management
- Own day-to-day client relationships, acting as the central point of contact for all campaign matters
- Lead weekly status calls, manage the status sheet, and ensure all actions and deadlines are met
- Lead client meetings and deliver against all agreed SLAs (meetings, calls, reporting)
- Resolve issues quickly and anticipate ways to mitigate future challenges, escalating where needed
- Partner with the Business Development Manager, Account Director, and Digital Strategist to understand client goals and communicate these to the wider team
- Strategy & Planning
- Support your Director in developing strategies, campaign planning content, ad hoc briefs, and annual plans
- Put forward smart ideas aligned with client short and long-term goals
- Input into client roadmaps and work with the Account Director to prioritise deliverables
- Develop incremental business proposals in line with agency priorities
- Define target audiences using relevant tools, supporting recommendations with previous work
- Collaborate with the Digital Strategist on strategy reviews and budget allocation across channels
- Campaign & Project Management
- Effectively project manage all aspects of campaigns, ensuring channels, people, and tasks are well organised and deadlines are met consistently
- Ensure all campaign team members have shared knowledge across all aspects of the campaign, working towards one unified goal
- Take ownership of the onboarding process for new clients and additional services, including immersion sessions, setup meetings, agency handovers, cross-channel implementation plans, and final sign-off
- Ensure new information is shared with the full team and integrated into the digital strategy
- Constantly review content and operations, making suggestions for improvements to ensure clients have best-in-class digital shelves
- Reporting & Analysis
- Own weekly and monthly performance reports, drawing out actionable insights and challenging activation teams where needed
- Lead the PCA process: briefing teams, collating slides, and presenting results
- Communicate results, tests, and optimisations clearly to internal and external stakeholders
- Financial Management
- Manage cross-channel invoicing and ensure budgets are fulfilled, auditable, and billed correctly
- Lead financial booking and reconciliation; ensure billing accuracy and timeliness
- Understand relevant commercial terms and processes to deliver agreed outcomes
- New Business & Growth
- Support the Account Director with collecting intelligence for pitch work and new business opportunities
- Team Leadership & Development
- Manage and mentor executive(s): prioritise tasks, set objectives, and ensure development opportunities across all disciplines
- Proactively identify & resolve challenges within delivery or team; providing constructive and solutions-based feedback
Essential skills and experience:
- Very strong operational knowledge of key media, digital performance channels; analytics and measurement
- A good working knowledge of Amazon Ads, Marketplaces, Retail Media and Social Commerce also an asset
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial startup in which cross-functional teamwork and initiative are essential.
- Strong organisation and project management capabilities.

- Regularly gives constructive feedback to the team and reports, understanding how the needs of one individual differ from another.

- Excel acumen with strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate these into commercial strategies.
