This internship is suited to someone at the beginning of their career who is interested in working within a media agency, with ecommerce and retail media as a core focus. As an Ecommerce Executive, you will support the wider ecommerce account team in delivering ecommerce and integrated media strategies across platforms such as Amazon, retail media networks and TikTok Shop. The role is centred on client servicing, coordination and planning support, helping ensure campaigns are well organised, clearly briefed and delivered on time. You will gain hands-on exposure to how ecommerce and brand campaigns are developed, shaped with clients and rolled out across different markets and channels. Alongside this, you will learn how client relationships are managed within an agency environment, and how internal teams collaborate to bring campaign strategies to life.

Over the 6-month programme, you’ll:

  • Client & Account Support
    • Support Senior Account Executives and Account Managers in the day-to-day management of ecommerce and integrated media clients.
    • Assist in coordinating activity across Amazon (seller & vendor), retail media networks (e.g., Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Currys, etc.), marketplaces and platforms such as TikTok Shop.
    • Help prepare client-facing materials including performance reports, campaign updates and presentation decks.
    • Attend client calls and meetings to take notes, track actions and support follow-ups.
    • Develop client relationships & build rapport.
    • Assist in maintaining strong communication between clients and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of work.
  • Strategy & Planning Support
    • Support the team in developing ecommerce and retail media strategies across Amazon, D2C, marketplaces and social commerce.
    • Assist in gathering data and research to inform campaign planning and strategic recommendations.
    • Help analyse performance reports to identify trends and learning points.
    • Contribute to competitor and category research to support planning discussions.
    • Learn how brand and commerce strategies connect, supporting the team in aligning campaign objectives across the full consumer journey.
    • Use AI to increase workflow efficiency, analyse data and mine insights.
    • Work with your team to put forward innovative test ideas to clients to drive performance improvements.
  • Project & Workflow Coordination
    • Support the coordination of deliverables across ecommerce, retail media and broader media teams.
    • Help manage timelines and trackers to ensure campaigns launch on schedule.
    • Assist with briefing activation teams, ensuring key information is captured accurately.
    • Maintain reporting templates and support weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting processes.
    • Escalate potential issues to senior team members where appropriate.
