THE ROLE

The Senior Social Media Manager is a leader within the social client team, focused on levelling up the teams social output, ensuring award winning work is consistently created.

The role requires a social expert, providing platform, strategy and content expertise across numerous clients, both internally and externally.

You will play a vital role in ensuring we’re providing the highest quality of social services, performing to all agreed strategies and challenging them to ensure we’re continuously improving.

You will support with all future planning and actively identify areas of growth.

  • AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
  • Overseeing the strategic management of two or more social accounts
  • Line management responsibilities. Focusing on upskilling the team to deliver award-winning work.
  • Working closely with the Social Strategist to develop social strategy for your accounts.

Overseeing the delivery of said strategy across multiple accounts, levelling up the output.

  • Managing large scale campaigns for clients, including the delivery of paid media campaigns where required.
  • Leading on all client management and communication for your clients. Support junior team members in client management, guiding, training and empowering them.
  • Oversight on all monthly content calendars, working with the Social Media Managers to ensure all content is pushing the client to level up their output and hit the required objectives.
  • Joining reporting calls where needed to act as a Social Expert. Providing platform, strategy, and social expertise.
  • Leading regular client updates, calls, meetings and presenting reports. Joining Senior Client calls to plan for the future and identify new areas of work.
  • Playing an active role in leading team events, upskilling junior and mid members of the team with interactive sessions.
  • Identifying & creating growth across current client opportunities by upselling our product offering.
  • Supporting new business and agency promotion, through research, outreach, deck building, pitching and more.

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in social media management, with an agency background.
  • Strong people management & leadership experience required
  • Exceptional social knowledge with a passion for staying on top of platform updates, trends and industry news.
  • Strong platform knowledge and understanding of how to develop content that works across Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook, You Tube, Linked In, and more.
  • A strategic mindset across planning, ideation and content
  • Significant experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Significant experience in professional client relationship management
