The Role: This role sits within the Havas Market Ecommerce Client Team. As a Senior Ecommerce Executive, you will support the Ecommerce Manager in delivering high-quality client service across a portfolio of connected commerce clients. You will contribute to campaign coordination, performance analysis, reporting, project management and client communications, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day delivery across your accounts.
Our clients operate across a range of channels, including:
- Brand: OOH, BVOD and programmatic
- Performance: PPC and paid social
- Commerce: Amazon retail, Amazon Ads, retail media and TikTok Shop
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious ecommerce or performance marketing executive who wants to develop broader experience across the connected commerce environment. You are not expected to have in-depth knowledge of every channel. However, you should have a strong appetite to learn and an interest in understanding how different channels work together to deliver against brand and commercial objectives for clients.
The role would suit someone with one to two years’ agency experience in ecommerce and/or performance marketing who is ready to take the next step in a client-facing role. This role is hybrid, with 3-days a week (Usually Tues, Weds & Thurs) at our central Kings Cross office, and 2 days remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client and campaign delivery
- Support the Ecommerce Manager and Director in developing ecommerce strategies for clients.
- Contribute to campaign planning, annual planning and the development of ad hoc briefs.
- Build an understanding of clients’ businesses, customers and commercial objectives.
- Help ensure recommendations are practical, insight-led and aligned with clients’ short- and long-term goals.
- Support the coordination of multi-channel campaigns, working closely with internal activation teams.
- Schedule and coordinate internal stand-ups, track actions and help ensure campaigns remain on schedule and on budget.
- Monitor campaign pacing and performance, escalating issues and performance challenges to the Ecommerce Manager where appropriate.
- Support the development of post-campaign analyses (PCAs), ensuring they contain clear, actionable insights.
- Support the implementation of client innovation and testing roadmaps.
Planning and performance:
- Work with the Ecommerce Manager and activation teams to develop media plans, forecasts and performance benchmarks.
- Contribute to performance analysis across ecommerce, retail media and wider paid media channels.
- Identify opportunities to improve campaign performance and client outcomes.
- Help anticipate potential delivery issues and recommend ways to mitigate them.
Client management:
- Own agreed client workstreams and support the day-to-day management of client accounts.
- Lead weekly client meetings with confidence; crafting clear agenda and performance insights.
- Act as a reliable point of contact for campaign updates, actions and operational queries.
- Build strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Communicate clearly, proactively and professionally across all projects.
Reporting and tools:
- Own the preparation of weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Translate data into clear, actionable insights and challenge assumptions where appropriate.
- Support the post-campaign analysis process by briefing internal teams, collating findings and preparing presentation materials.
- Become proficient in relevant ecommerce, retail media and performance marketing tools, including proprietary Havas Market technology.
Digital shelf optimisation:
- Optimise product content and ecommerce operations across relevant commerce platforms.
- Help improve clients’ retail presence, discoverability and commercial performance.
- Monitor issues relating to content, availability, retailer compliance and platform execution, escalating where required.
Skills and Experience:
- Ideally one to two years’ experience in an agency, brand, retailer or consultancy environment, ideally within ecommerce, retail media or performance marketing.
- An analytical mindset and strong Excel/spreadsheet skills.
- Experience with campaign coordination, reporting or performance analysis.
- Working knowledge of Amazon Ads and Amazon retail platforms, including Vendor Central and/or Seller Central.
- Understanding of retail media and marketplace activity.
- Experience or exposure to PPC and paid social activation.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial agency environment.
- A collaborative, proactive and positive approach.
- A genuine interest in learning and developing across connected commerce.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience with both Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central.
- Experience with TikTok Shop or social commerce.
