The Global Account Manager is responsible for leading the relationship with the Global client. The role requires a blend of multinational media coordination experience, development and application of multinational strategic planning principles and media best practices, strategy and media performance support, client account management and team management across both digital and offline media.
Mission & Responsibilities
- Leadership of daily client relationship, and careful management of the client, appreciating sensitivities and agendas.
- Responsible for all client related account activity and day to day output from the Global hub.
- Work closely with the Global Account Director to ensure the business runs smoothly, consulting with them to maximise learning and application of business best-practices.
- Key requirement of basic digital knowledge to ensure seamless integration of on and offline coordination.
- Work seamlessly with your local hub counterparts to ensure efficiencies and economies are enjoyed.
- Drive an agenda to constantly deliver strategic value-add (shifting from today’s operational/coordination function to establishing a meaningful media agenda in all engagements (with both local agencies and clients).
- Ensure extremely tight working relations with the regional hubs who manage multiple markets. Drive for seamless comms and seek efficiencies/economies.
- Ensure smooth and efficient Mx delivery of all campaigns across markets; Converged AI best practice guidelines and media principles for local markets to ensure adherence to central strategic frameworks.
- Work with local teams to ensure full understanding of central Converged strategies and support the development of local activation of central strategies following the Mx Development and Measurement process.
- Ensure the content delivered by Hub and local teams is to a high standard and driving conversations forward with the client.
- Create action plans from client assessments which need to be delivered by the relevant teams (Hub & Local) to ensure assessment scores minimally are maintained or ideally improved.
- Work with regional clients to ensure we are supporting and managing their process expectations and that there is network-wide understanding and compliance. Use every opportunity to improve process, maximise Havas efficiency and promote internal services.
- Ensure quarterly KPI deliverables are being prepared and delivered regularly to ensure current client priorities are considered.
- Build relationships with creative / content stakeholders, internal Havas communities and key media owners to ensure optimised and innovative Mx recommendations for our client.
- Keep up with the latest media opportunities with media vendors and be able to recognise suitable links to client briefs/projects.

- 3+ years experience in client servicing or media strategy.
