Together with our clients, we shape the digital products, teams, processes, and software systems they need to meet their customers' needs and accelerate their business growth. We want a world that’s crafted by diverse people for diverse people – and ensures great experiences for everyone.

Our teams work with the likes of Tesco, Arsenal FC, Aston Martin, and more. And our work is recognised at the The Webby Awards, UXUK Awards, and The Drum DADI Awards. We’re looking for a Senior Experience Designer to join our multidisciplinary Experience Design (XD) team at Inviqa. The role is a combination of Research and traditional UX / UI work, that could also be described as a Senior Product Designer role. You’ll be part of a small team of 12 Experience Designers that share a passion for crafting compelling, evidence-based and beautiful customer experiences.

You will be comfortable designing and optimising end-to-end experiences across complex digital product engagements. You will drive discovery, research, design direction, experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration to create impactful digital experiences. This role suits an experienced practitioner who blends strong research credentials, UX / UI craft, strategic thinking, confident presentation and facilitation skills, and the ability to guide product teams toward evidence-based design decisions. You’ll mentor junior designers, lead co-creation with clients, and ensure that every design move aligns with customer needs and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • User Research & Discovery
    • Lead discovery activities including qualitative and quantitative research, usability testing and stakeholder interviews and workshops.
    • Synthesise qual and quant data into insights and actionable problem statements, opportunity areas, customer journeys and product hypotheses.
    • Guide external stakeholders and internal teams in the prioritisation of identified customer needs that drive strategic outcomes.
    • Translate research into conceptual models and north star visions that demonstrate clear experience improvements and motivate stakeholders to move into future phases.
    • Synthesise research insights into compelling, easy to understand design artefacts such as experience maps and personas.
  • UX & UI Design
    • Comfortable leading the audit of existing experiences and the concepting of solutions or new experiences based on research, strategy and data.
    • Create clear wireframes, user flows and low to mid fidelity prototypes to bring an idea to life.
    • Ensure quality, consistency and accessibility are prioritised during the high fidelity design phase of new experiences and the optimisation of existing ones.
    • Create high-fidelity test-ready prototypes.
    • Set up and maintain design systems and component libraries.
    • Present the project and all design decisions to internal and client-side stakeholders at key milestones of projects.
  • Management & Mentoring
    • Direct line management of more junior members of the Experience Design team.
    • Lead by example and offer guidance on approach to other team members.
  • Collaboration
    • Create clear design documentation and assets for in-house and external development teams.
    • Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, strategy, design) in agile delivery environments.
  • Continuous Learning
    • Stay informed and communicate within the team about design trends, UX methodologies, accessibility standards, and product thinking.
    • Engage in training courses and internal knowledge sharing through Inviqa’s culture of collaboration and learning.

You will have 5+ years experience in UX, service design, product design, or equivalent and have experience working in digital agencies or consultancy environments. You will be aligned to Inviqa’s values - Purpose, Human, Open, Learning and Together. This means that you are goal driven and deliver on your commitments, you empathise with clients and colleagues, you share knowledge and give honest feedback, you have a thirst for learning, and you collaborate as a default.

We are looking for enthusiastic people that exhibit the following skills:

  • Technical & Craft Skills
    • Significant experience delivering end-to-end research and design across complex digital products or services.
    • Strong command of UX methodologies, human-centred design, service design, and design thinking.
    • High proficiency with Figma.
    • Experience designing to digital accessibility requirements (WCAG standards).
  • AI Literacy in Design & Research
    • Be familiar with the current landscape of AI-powered tools across the design and research workflow (e.g. generative design assistants, automated prototyping, qualitative data synthesis, and analysis).
    • Understand where AI tools create genuine efficiency gains and where they introduce unreliable or misleading outputs.
    • Able to articulate AI capabilities and limitations clearly to non-technical stakeholders and advocate for responsible project integration.
  • Soft Skills
    • Proactive, a strong curiosity and a hunger to learn and develop your skills.
    • Strong leadership skills.
    • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
    • Approachable with good communication and presentation skills.
    • Organised, with the ability to manage small tasks within larger project streams.
