Havas Lynx is looking for a Junior Creative pair to come and join us in Manchester!

As a Junior Creative Pair, you will produce impactful, original and intelligent work which impresses the client and surpasses their need. This is a great opportunity to push your skillset and learn from Senior Creatives in your team and across the business!
As a Junior Copywriter you’ll be:
- Supporting on client brand activity, being the ‘go-to’ writer across a number of clients areas, tailoring writing style and tone as appropriate.
- Working with Senior Creatives, thinking of ideas from day one, helping craft them and getting feedback along the way.
- Honing your copywriting skills, including refined writing skills, long and short form copywriting, digital/print/video/ad writing, headline and body copy writing, tonality, audience adaptability, health literacy considerations, SEO and UX considerations.
- Tracking trends and award-winning work and proactively bringing ideas and thoughts on how to apply them to your work.
As a Junior Art Director expect to:
- Take ownership for the conception and delivery of your idea and include Senior Creatives and the Creative Director where appropriate.
- Work with your Copy Team to hone ideas generation, campaign ideation and development, campaign execution and selling ideas into the clients.
- Actively develop your skills across photography, sound usage, illustration, multi-format art direction, ideation and problem solving, visual communication, and design principles.
- Keep up to date on the creative sector, news, and events, and be motivated to share this knowledge on a regular basis with your team.
A good to know - you will also present your work internally and externally, explaining rationale for suggested creative copy and concepts to internal teams and clients.

- Be able to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team.

Your portfolio:
What we would love to see in your portfolio are great and creative ideas, showcasing the process, as well as the final product. It should demonstrate your individual style and interests! We want to see this in the form of a website, external portfolio, or PDF. Word documents will not be accepted. When we say great and creative ideas, we are looking for examples of branding, print, websites, apps, campaigns and concepts. This can be a mixture of university work, projects, pieces you’ve done in your own time or freelance work! Something to consider is the visuals; how does it come across, what could support the tone and create impact.
The application process:
- You submit your portfolio.
- We have a screening call, either over the phone or Microsoft Teams.
- You come in to do an assessment centre where you will go through a group exercise and get given a creative brief to work on.
- Then...a decision!
