We are recruiting for a Payroll and Benefits Administrator to ensure we process accurate payroll, employee data and benefits across our client groups.

This role covers payroll data collection, instructions and validation, and employee benefits administration.

You will work closely with the Payroll & Systems Advisor and other team members to support our employees as the first point of contact for benefits information across the Group.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Payroll Administration – Audit HRIS to ensure all employee lifecycle changes and necessary data are recorded in a timely fashion ahead of payroll cut‑off; liaise with Havas Shared Services centre for monthly employee updates and enquiries; check and reconcile payroll data against HRIS and monthly updates after the first run; act as a front‑facing contact for all employees on payroll & tax queries.
  • Benefits Administration – Act as the first point of contact with employees to manage questions and queries about employee benefits; maintain relationships with external benefit providers; keep membership of all benefit platforms up to date on a monthly basis and perform regular audits; support the communication and promotion of employee benefits throughout the year.
  • General Administration – Keep all e‑files up to date; stay abreast of changes in relevant legislation; ensure all data is managed in accordance with GDPR and that safeguards remain in place and any changes are recorded and communicated.

Qualifications

  • Strong Excel skills (data validation, basic formulae such as VLOOKUP/IF/MATCH) and ability to prepare manual payroll calculations in Excel.
  • Intermediate Excel and Word skills.
  • Highly organised, deadline‑focused, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Compelling and concise communicator – persuasive and confident, able to translate complex data into plain terms.
  • Comfortable challenging and asking why; confident in a confidential environment.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
