The Channel Expertise Executive is operating Media Experience (Mx) campaigns for a client portfolio on a specific channel.

Reporting To: Paid Performance Manager

THE ROLE: Sitting as part of the PPC team based in Leeds, this role will see you work exclusively within the B2B vertical. As such, you will sit within a scaled performance community within the Havas Market organisation, but you will need to be deeply connected into Ledger Bennett - our global B2B marketing agency dedicated to redefining B2B marketing through inventive, authentic, and ambitious strategies. This is an exciting Exec level role working with some of the most recognisable B2B brands in the world. PPC is a critical channel for these businesses, so there are significant budgets you will be helping to manage to effectively deliver against ambitious growth targets.

In this role, you will primarily support with analysis, campaign implementation, optimisation, delivery, and evaluation of PPC campaigns. Along with your line manager and the senior executive in the team, you will be jointly responsible for the effective running of and performance of campaigns. This role is pivotal in providing the insight and data needed to drive performance improvements for this client. Havas will provide all the training and support you will need to succeed in this role and will map out a clear development path for you when you join the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and manage PPC campaigns to effectively deliver client objectives and targets within B2B.
  • Ad copy creation, development, testing, optimisation, automation, and personalisation.
  • Optimisation of campaigns across multiple formats, including PPC, Performance Max, Demand Gen and possibly app.
  • Develop a rich understanding of your clients’ audience and the consumer journey within the B2B vertical - always striving to deliver richer insight to clients.
  • Lean into the Ledger Bennett agency culture – ensuring you attend team meetings, ensuring you report back on key updates and represent the PPC team to the highest standard.
  • Adhere to Ledger Bennett / client SLAs and deadlines to ensure optimal service levels are consistently maintained.
  • Deliver against PPC best practice on your clients, specifically, improving the quality of campaign delivery, innovation, and automation.
  • Manage daily spends through AI centric budget management and bid optimisation, in line with targets and monthly budgets.
  • Use bid management tools to manage and optimise campaigns.
  • Implement tracking requirements across paid performance campaigns.
  • Support in the development of forecasting and testing plans for clients.
  • Put forward innovative test ideas to drive performance improvements.
  • Monitor and analyse campaigns to deliver rich insight to clients and drive optimisation.
  • Responsible for client reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • In time and following training, attend client calls/meetings to discuss performance.
  • Monitor and analyse competitor activity through landscape monitoring technology and partner communication to provide rich insights and trends to clients.
  • Nurture and grow strong relationships with relevant day to day client stakeholders.
  • Be comfortable reporting any concerns with management if you believe escalation is required.
  • Keep up to date with the latest changes in the paid and B2B landscape to ensure your knowledge is always relevant and cutting edge.
  • On-going development of your industry knowledge.

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Previous experience in performance media desirable but not essential.
  • Interest in, and understanding of, digital media.
  • Good numeracy skills and comfortable working in spreadsheets.
  • Excellent time-management skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Ability to work under pressure and fastidious attention to detail.
  • A strong written and verbal communicator.
  • A high energy, positive, can-do person who is always looking for ways to improve what we do.
  • A hunger to learn.
