We’re looking for a Governance Assistant to join our collaborative and fast-paced Governance team within Havas Media.

This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build experience in a broad, business-facing role within a global media organisation. The Governance team plays a key role in keeping the business running smoothly behind the scenes, ensuring processes, systems and controls are working effectively.

You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of areas across finance, operations and compliance, with full training provided.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintaining and updating master data across clients, suppliers, systems and users
  • Managing and supporting the contract database
  • Assisting with external client audits (e.g. large client reviews)
  • Supporting financial risk and credit insurance processes
  • Contributing to internal governance audits and compliance checks
  • Providing systems and financial support to the wider business
  • Supporting data migrations and system integration for new acquisitions
  • Ensuring group financial processes and internal controls are followed

This is a role with a lot of variety, you’ll be working across different tasks and systems, gaining a strong understanding of how the business operates.

What We’re Looking For

  • Some experience in a finance, admin, or office-based role (even 6–12 months is valuable)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A proactive, “can-do” attitude
  • Good Excel skills (basic to intermediate)
