The Havas Creative Finance team is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Commercial Accountant to oversee all matters linked to revenue recognition and forecasting for a Creative agency. The role will be the key contact in the agency for providing support and financial guidance to the Client teams and will work closely with the Finance Analyst to produce monthly profitability reports, ensuring strong profitability on accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the production of revenue figures for monthly reporting and quarterly forecasting.
  • Ensure revenue recognition standards are applied correctly.
  • Complete month-end revenue tasks.
  • Review monthly recovery reports and organise monthly meetings with Business Directors.
  • Review fee proposals.
  • Be a real driver in raising commercial awareness across the business.
  • Provide ongoing training of client teams on commercial matters.
  • Oversee the management of all client WIP accounts, ensuring timely billing and reconciliation, and minimising any WIP write-off.
  • Ensure rate cards, rates, and roles are up to date in the system.
  • Ensure the Kimble System is maintained and used appropriately.
  • Assist with implementation of new financial system.
  • Ad-hoc tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in Commercial or Client Accounting.
  • Previous agency experience desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivator.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
