The Role
Following a number of new business wins in 2024 at Havas Media Network, we have created an additional Account Director Role within our talented and thriving AV team. As a key member of the Audio-Visual team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering first-class campaigns across various clients and sectors; also managing and inspiring a team of AV Executives and an AV Manager.
There are 8 AD-led teams within the department, and the right person will support Havas Group’s growth, focusing on goal and target achievement, as well as strategic thinking for clients.
We seek someone with proven experience and passion in planning and buying Audio-Visual media (TV, VOD, Cinema & Audio), with strong industry relationships. Excellent people skills and team leadership ability are essential.
The role reports to the AV Business Director.
Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Activation:
- Building trusted relationships with clients
- Overseeing planning, buying, and delivery of campaigns
- Creating evidence-based client proposals
- Managing team deliverables and deadlines
- Understanding client businesses and contributions to their success
- Conducting weekly status meetings
- Acting as ‘go to’ for trading activities
- Monitoring market dynamics and communicating insights
- Collaborating with digital, social, and programmatic teams
Operational & Commercial Management:
- Promoting operational excellence within the team
- Driving responsibility and accountability
- Ensuring quality and timely deliverables
- Managing media owner relationships
- Flagging campaign issues proactively
- Managing relationships with media auditors
- Encouraging creative activation and award-winning work
People Management:
- Supporting team culture and performance
- Collaborating across Havas
- Encouraging innovation and ideas
- Conducting reviews and setting objectives
- Monitoring workload and team well-being
- Ensuring professional conduct and representing Havas
Candidate Profile
- Proven planning and buying experience in AV media
- Minimum 5 years’ media agency experience
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Leadership experience and team development skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on value optimization
- Knowledge of AV audit processes
- Experience in new business and pitching is a plus
