The Role

We’re looking for a smart and motivated individual to take on the role of Technical SEO Executive within a scaled SEO team that spans both Leeds and London. Within the role you will support with analysis, reporting, insights, and optimisation across a diverse and exciting portfolio of agency clients. You will be responsible for delivering core technical SEO deliverables, including crawl audits, addressing indexation and accessibility issues, and keyword research. You will have access to a suite of proprietary and leading third‑party SEO tools, including Accuranker, SEMrush, Lumar, Screaming Frog, etc., as well as first‑party platforms such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Extensive training will be provided by the wider team to ensure you have the right knowledge and support to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, investigate, and analyse crawl & log files from tools such as Screaming Frog, custom crawlers, and client extractions.
  • Deliver accurate and comprehensive SEO audits with clear issue identification and actionable recommendations.
  • Maintain a basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
  • Utilise core SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Lumar, GA4, Google Search Console).
  • Base recommendations on robust data analysis using the provided tool suite.
  • Develop an understanding of consumer search behaviour for clients and verticals.
  • Improve performance with reasoned, logical technical suggestions.
  • Follow the strategic plan and roadmap for each client.
  • Assist with reporting for the client set – BAU and larger client meetings (QBRs).
  • Present work and results to internal teams and clients when necessary.
  • Join client calls and contribute to regular reporting meetings.
  • Prepare presentation material for client calls and meetings.
  • Learn agency best practice to ensure quality standards.
  • Collaborate with line manager on roadmaps and strategic recommendations.
  • Raise issues or flag concerns to management when required.
  • Deliver work within deadlines and SLAs defined in client scopes.
  • Utilise AI platforms to increase performance outputs.
  • Monitor industry developments to keep SEO knowledge up to date.
