We’re a team of over 400+ people in Manchester and London, with a history spanning over 35 years and an ever-evolving future. Please note that this role is based in Manchester, and our current hybrid working arrangement requires office attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Our Role: Work closely with the HoPBP to support the agency’s people priorities and people strategy, whilst demonstrating responsiveness and flexibility to enhance the employee experience. Act as a strategic advisor to partner with our agencies to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, talent development and organisational change. Champion the company culture, ensure compliance with our People policies and drive engagement, retention, and skills development within teams.
What you can expect to be doing:
- Build strong relationships with the teams and ALT to support agency goals
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers, offering coaching and practical advice on people related matters
- Participate in ALT meetings, sharing people insights and supporting follow up actions
- Ensure sensitive cases such as grievances, disciplinaries and performance concerns are handled with professionalism and confidentiality
- Coach line managers in techniques around managing high and low performers
- Maintain accurate employee data
- Support with pay and benefits reviews to ensure fairness and competitiveness
