Please note that this role is based in London, and our current hybrid working arrangement requires office attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Our role:
To ensure that content and production materials developed by the teams are clear, concise, and accurate in terms of both language and scientific content and are delivered on time and on budget.
What you can expect to be doing:
- Ensure the information and data is correct and accurate.
- Use your proofreading skills to ensure materials are medically correct
- Demonstrate your knowledge of medical editing across a range of materials
- Have an understanding of the industry codes of practice and legislation including ABPI
- Know your clients and their projects inside and out including therapy areas an portfolios
- Work directly with other members of the medical writing teams to ensure the projects and objectives are met
- Assist on pitches and client account work
- Adhere to budgets and timelines , keeping the team updated with any alterations or changes made
What we’d like to see from you:
- 2 + years experience as a Medical Editor in an agency setting is a must need – we will not be able to consider grads or/and anyone outside of an agency setting
- Experience working with global pharmaceutical companies
- Experience working directly with clients
- A solid scientific background and experience working on a number of therapeutic areas
- Learning and understanding new therapy areas quickly and comprehensively, inspiring confidence with the client
- A degree in Science
- Understanding of clinical research, drug development process, and industry guidelines and regulations
