The role

We’re looking for a Head of People Business Partnering to join our People team, reporting directly to the People Director. This isn’t a traditional HR partnering role. You’ll work side-by-side with senior leaders to solve real business challenges, improve team effectiveness, and create an environment where people can do their best work. You’ll also play a key role in shaping how AI is integrated across our people agenda—identifying opportunities to improve insight, efficiency and employee experience, while ensuring we maintain a human-centered approach.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partnering closely with senior leaders to understand commercial priorities and translate these into effective people strategies
  • Acting as a trusted advisor and sounding board—balancing support with constructive challenge to drive accountability
  • Leading on talent and succession planning to ensure we have the right capability for now and the future
  • Driving a high-performance culture through effective performance, engagement and development frameworks
  • Providing expert, commercially grounded advice on complex people matters
  • Coaching and developing senior leaders to strengthen leadership capability across the business
  • Leading and developing a high-performing People Partnering team, ensuring a consistent, high-quality service

What we’re looking for:

  • A commercially minded People leader who understands how people strategy drives business performance
  • Someone in a similar role, 5 to 7 years' experience
  • A credible and trusted advisor, confident influencing at senior leadership level
  • Someone who balances empathy with challenge, and takes ownership of driving solutions
  • A big-picture thinker who can connect people, performance and commercial outcomes
  • Proven experience leading and developing People teams in a fast-paced environment

What you can expect from us:

A supportive and challenging environment in which you will have the opportunity to learn, grow, and make an impact that matters. We put a huge investment into culture and our internal learning programmes. It’s a unique initiative that aims to reward hard work, reduce pressures, and ensure that we can all enjoy our time at Lynx. Our strategy is to build capabilities internally and inspire the best talent, so we can continue to deliver on our mission.

You can also expect a whole host of benefits, including:

  • Hybrid Working – 3 days in the office (flexible working options are available for in-office days)
  • Starting holiday allowance of 28 days annual leave + Bank Holidays, with increasing allowance connected to length of service
  • Option to buy, carry or sell holidays
  • Early Friday finish throughout the year
  • Seasonal working hours
  • Enhanced family leave, pay and return to work benefit scheme
  • Extensive L&D support
  • Sabbatical opportunities
  • Season ticket interest free loans for travel
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Life insurance (4x salary)
  • Company pension scheme
  • Fully compensated company events
  • Volunteer days
  • Wellbeing programme including sports clubs, onsite gym, free onsite flu vaccinations, extended lunch breaks on Wellness Wednesdays and much more
  • Medicash healthcare benefit
  • 24/7 access to a free, confidential and independent Employee Assistance Programme
