We’re looking for a Multi-Disciplinary Mid - Weight Designer to join our creative team. You will have the opportunity to contribute to high-quality design work across a range of projects, helping ensure all outputs meet client expectations. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support the development of the visual direction of campaigns.
What you will be doing:
- Collaborate with a variety of disciplines, both internally and externally, to develop design solutions.
- Liaise with the client services team to determine project objectives, budget, background information and presentation approaches, styles and techniques.
- Proactively suggest effective builds and edits of briefs using your understanding of the client, audience and their needs.
- Push the understanding of this by interrogating your juniors and proactively making suggestions for improvement.
- Ability to show exceptional understanding of insights, target audiences, therapy area landscapes, brand benefits, communication objective and the idea outputs to proactively elevate the standard of work.
- Take responsibility for the work you produce through to sign off, ensuring it is completed to deadline, is of a high quality, demonstrating accuracy, attention to detail and ownership.
- Following internal and external meetings, guide the brief along with the client services team, helping them to get the best out of it.
- Be able to produce accurate estimates, clearly communicating how long you think is required to complete a piece of work, supporting the Lead Designer in troubleshooting any possible challenges that may impact the smooth progression of the project.
Technical Knowledge & Specialism:
- Strong ability to translate client business needs and insights into effective creative work that meets the brief.
- Confident in managing your own tasks across projects with support, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Develop and execute concepts across multiple mediums, including imagery, typography, motion, tone of voice, and localisation.
- Collaborate effectively with UX/UI teams, applying digital best practice to your work.
- Good experience using Figma to design, prototype, and collaborate on digital outputs.
- Support senior team members in creative direction, production, and working with external partners.
- Maintain a strong level of craft and attention to detail across all deliverables.
- Stay up to date with design trends and emerging tools, including AI-supported workflows.
Portfolio & Approach:
- Portfolio demonstrating strong information design, creative use of data, and motion design.
- Self-starter with a hands-on mindset; comfortable working across multiple formats and channels.
- Proactive in leveraging AI tools and workflows to enhance ideation, efficiency, and creative output.
