We’re a team of over 400+ people in Manchester and London, with a history spanning over 35 years and an ever-evolving future. Please note that this role is based in Manchester, and our current hybrid working arrangement requires office attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Our Role: As an Operations & Commercial Lead at Havas Lynx, you are the most senior operations role operating at an agency level, working across one or more agency teams. You are integral to the overall commercial success of the agency teams you are responsible for through exceptional financial acumen and commercial best practice. You are also responsible for all aspects of agency processes, production, and creative best practice. You will practically help to solve resource and other broader challenges relating to the successful functioning of your agencies.

  • Responsible for ensuring all project timelines in full via the Pulse Resource Scheduler before the project commences, and that booked hours do not exceed the specific number of budgeted hours in Pulse / the SOW (or the supplied budget hours for ABP).
  • Act as the first point of contact for any process-related queries.
  • Ensure the briefing process is consistently followed by Client Services teams, and that all resource requests align with the written time estimates provided by Creative, Medical, Strategy, and other specialist teams.
  • Required to oversee workflow coordination, resource allocation, manage projects and teams across specific workstreams.
  • Act as a key motivational leader within the agency, helping to maintain high morale through proactive cultural initiatives and the promotion of a healthy, inclusive working environment.
  • Be a trusted and approachable first point of contact for team members facing challenges or requiring support.
  • Support the ALT in defining clear reporting structures and line management responsibilities.
  • Provide effective line management and mentorship to the Resource Manager, identifying appropriate development and training opportunities.
  • Experience in a similar role in an agency is critical.
