We’re a team of over 400+ people in Manchester and London, with a history spanning over 35 years and an ever‑evolving future. Please note that this role is based in Manchester, and our current hybrid working arrangement requires office attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Summary of our role

As a Group Account Director at Havas Lynx, you will be proven at establishing and nurturing effective, long‑lasting client partnerships. You will ensure that our clients receive the highest individual attention, based on a thorough understanding of their business and personal drivers.

Your strategic nous and critical thinking will mean that you can readily identify opportunities within your existing accounts and beyond resulting in exceptional creative campaigns with demonstrable impact. As a natural leader, you will lead and inspire your team to deliver an efficient, effective and profitable service; whilst creating space for their personal growth and development.

What you can expect to be doing
  • Build and nurture effective, long‑lasting relationships, positioning Havas Lynx as the client’s strategic partner and using your network to develop broader business opportunities.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the client’s business and the industry in which they operate, equipping the wider Client Services Team with this knowledge.
  • Utilise your knowledge and experience to foresee and solve problems proactively, escalating matters to the Client Services Director when appropriate.
  • Empower the team by delegating clearly and effectively, while maintaining overall responsibility for the work they produce.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Havas Lynx credentials and confidently explain the agency’s portfolio of services to grow accounts and bring in new business.
  • Develop your team’s capability in all areas of customer service and account management, encouraging best practice across creative, production, client services and financial management.
What you can expect to be a great fit for you if
  • You are an experienced Group Account Director with Healthcare / pharmaceutical experience in a creative agency.
  • You have managed large teams across multiple brands.
  • You have worked on global campaigns and clients.
  • You have experience working with Generative AI tools and data, along with AI certifications from platforms such as Coursera, Section AI, or LinkedIn Learning.
