Inviqa is a full-service digital agency that designs and builds exceptional digital experiences. We blend strategy, insight, design, and engineering — underpinned by best-in-class technology and agile methodologies. We have a team of 100+ researchers, designers and engineers based in both the UK and Germany.
We pride ourselves on being innovative problem-solvers focused on delivering better customer and business outcomes for our clients by designing and building digital services (apps, websites, ecommerce solutions). We are immensely proud of the long-lasting client relationships we build — for clients such as Arsenal, who have been a client for the past 10 years, to Talk Mobile who we took from zero to 500,000 customers in just four years, to working with Starbucks across 28 EMEA markets.
Most recently we have engaged with a prominent UK charity to transform their current website architecture and offer a more accessible online experience for their audiences. We are part of the Havas CX network which means we have access to XD and engineering teams across the globe and can bring in experts in business consultancy or customer engagement dependent on a client's needs.
Our London office is based in the Havas Kings Cross Village where you can collaborate and learn from over 26 different marketing disciplines from advertising to media to PR and social. We operate a remote and hybrid working approach, giving our people the flexibility to find a good work-life balance whilst still being connected to customers and colleagues. As an agency we put people first, building brilliant things for other people.
Empathy underpins everything we do, and we do our best work when we work together, taking pride in creating high quality solutions. We value openness and curiosity, which is why we never stop learning — we dedicate time and budget to supporting everyone in this goal.
We're experts at helping brands better connect to their customers through great digital platform experiences. We engage with businesses across a broad set of industries, including retail, travel and leisure, entertainment, luxury, pharma and not for profit sectors. We specialise in delivering innovative user-centric design and flexible technologies to address complex business and user needs, all delivered through agile methodologies.
Our clients and prospects are looking for strategic advice that helps them realise the benefits of this approach for their customers, business, and internal teams. We need a Digital Strategist who can not only ask the right questions of our clients and identify the key challenges for our prospects but also distil and translate these into business and customer benefit recommendations. Briefing and working collaboratively with teams across the agency — our strategists deliver cohesive, compelling, and thorough proposals and solutions.
The Digital Strategist is a pivotal role within Inviqa. They understand the strategic agenda of the clients and prospects, help to define it where it is missing, identify opportunities, and propose solutions. They need to be commercially-minded and capable of thinking across a broad remit of people, processes, and technology, so that our recommendations are viable based on the client's goals and our understanding of internal constraints.
Working across all Inviqa departments as well as integrating with partners across the broader Havas network, our strategists translate desired business outcomes into coherent recommendations that leverage great strategy, experience design and flexible technologies to deliver real business and customer benefits. The Digital Strategist will work across both new and existing business, leading the agenda with existing clients.
The Digital Strategist will perform a strategic role across client accounts. They will help shape and facilitate discoveries, driving the design and composition of workshops and interviews, leaning on subject matter experts as needed. They will be able to translate the complex into simple benefit-led recommendations that add value to the client. They will be able to engage non-technical stakeholders and ensure internal teams understand clients' business objectives so the solutions they design will achieve them.
They will proactively bring new thinking and innovations to our clients, fostering deeper relationships by understanding each client's strategic agenda and making recommendations based on Inviqa's expertise and services, as well as those from the wider Havas CX network, village and our industry partners. Commercially smart, they will know how to sell 'added value' strategic support to clients, crafting the strategic approach for new business proposals.
Working with the business development team and relevant subject matter experts, the Digital Strategist helps to define the strategic story we tell in our new business engagements. Working in collaboration, they will identify the solutions we'll provide to improve client business outcomes, and the strategic approach to pitching the work. They need to have the confidence and drive to shape a strategic response, creating a compelling story and vision for our proposals.
They are led by their curiosity about prospects' businesses and industries, gaining a depth of understanding about their needs, challenges and constraints, and seeking to understand competitors as well as opportunity in the broader market landscape. This role will be part of Inviqa's Digital Strategy team, reporting into the Strategy Director, and will collaborate with colleagues across the business on client accounts.
We are looking for a strategist with 4+ years working either in a full-service digital agency or as part of a small IT or digital consultancy. You will have experience providing strategic insight on client accounts and winning new business. Experience in a large agency is not a pre-requisite - what is important is curiosity, flexibility and a collaborative approach that helps guide our subject matter experts to deliver solutions that meet the strategic business and customer needs of our clients and prospects.
You will have the confidence needed to lead the conversations with senior stakeholders, using the benefit of your experience from a wide range of industries to demonstrate credible understanding of their business challenges. While not a technical role, we are looking for someone who has a clear understanding of how technology fits within the overall solution and the broader benefits of flexible technologies including composable architecture, even if they do not have direct experience.
What is important is being able to communicate the benefits of our recommendations in a compelling way. Someone who can work with and know when to bring in a wide range of expertise based on the ask of the project from solutions architects to experience directors to business analysts, CRO experts and technical engineering leads. A team player who can bring everyone together to provide cohesive recommendations.
We're also looking for good data and AI literacy and proactiveness — you don't need to be technically proficient in data science or AI tools, but you should be comfortable interpreting data to support your recommendations, and genuinely curious about how AI and emerging technologies could shape client solutions or the way we work. We want someone who asks good questions and stays current, rather than someone who can build the models themselves. A curious, flexible, and solution-focused mindset is vital.
We are looking for someone who is a natural problem-solver with the ability to conceptualise innovative digital solutions for business challenges, and who has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver energising workshops during the discovery phase of a project so that we find out all we need about a client's business, so we can define a digital strategy which is both viable and feasible.
- Serve as the strategic point of reference throughout a project or engagement, ensuring the work our teams deliver is always tied back to strategic client objectives and that we can convey that narrative to our clients.
- Bring a curious, proactive approach to data and AI — using data and measurement to identify how best to measure the impact of our work in delivering business and customer outcomes and staying alert to how AI-enabled tools and approaches could benefit our clients or our own ways of working.
- Create roadmaps that provide our clients and delivery teams with a clear path to realising the future vision state, demonstrating understanding of what impacts this might have on people and processes within the clients' organisations as well as its digital ecosystem.
- Own the strategic agenda for existing clients in collaboration with client service leads.
- Support new business opportunities working hand in hand with business development, client service, technical and XD teams the senior leadership team, and other subject matter experts.
- Draft and write compelling presentations and proposals, with a clear POV, and that stand out from the crowd.
- Help clients build the business case for recommended initiatives, including materials that support internal budget requests and client-side buy-in.
- Identify new opportunities and drive innovation by using consultative selling techniques — so we add value to our clients and to our business.
- Actively engage with and build relationships with relevant village partners, helping to shape joint propositions or identify where a 'better together' approach will benefit our clients or prospects.
- Actively engage with clients bringing them thought leadership and proactive opportunities or recommendations.
- Work alongside other strategists within the agency.
- Thought Leadership in the strategic space by being up to date and curious about relevant trends — including data and AI — which will impact the ways in the demands people will make of our technology solutions.
Benefits:
You'll get the agility, entrepreneurship, and sense of ownership of a small agency, with the support of a big agency network — the best of both worlds!
We offer:
- A diverse and supportive team at Inviqa, the digital experience agency within Havas UK
- 25 days holiday, 3 days off between Christmas and New Year, and your birthday off
