HSDC is looking for a dynamic and student-focused Be Active Lead – Cross Campus to lead and develop sport, fitness, and health‑related enrichment opportunities across the College.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Be Active Coordinators.
- Grow participation in extra‑curricular activities.
- Build strong community partnerships.
- Oversee impact reporting.
- Secure external funding to sustain and expand the provision.
Qualifications
- Degree or HND in a sport or fitness related subject (or equivalent).
- English and Maths GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent).
- A recognised professional management qualification (e.g. CMI or ILM) and/or commercial sports management training.
- Experience of leading staff or programmes in a sport, leisure, or educational setting.
- Experience of managing, leading, or mentoring staff or coordinators within a sport, leisure, or educational setting.
- Demonstrable involvement in managing community/sports project work, including inclusive or disability sport.
- Strong knowledge of youth sport, safeguarding, health and safety, enrichment, participation tracking.
- Strong understanding of health & safety, risk assessment, safeguarding, and impact reporting/KPI analysis.
- Ability to work across campuses.
